The box says 99.9% effective against pregnancy, right? It doesn't say 100%, does it?
Plus, it has to be properly worn, and not fall off, etc etc.

Yes, you can, because condoms can and do break, especially the cheap crap purchased from vending machines in some men's restrooms. If worn improperly, they can easily break and few people know that when one puts a condom on, the reservoir tip should be compressed manually to remove the air, thus reducing chances of breakage. Still condoms are still a major weapon in preventing STDs and unwanted pregnancies, and are rated usually at about 70% effective.
This is another way of saying they have about a 30% failure rate in preventing pregnancy or STDs. Combined with spermicidal agents the effectiveness can be increased to 90-95%. Unfortunately, these days, one has to treat sex as an attempt by the enemy to infiltrate your fortress and one needs multiple layers of defense! The enemy, of course, is those nasty STDs and the little tail wigglers known as sperm. One drop of sperm can contain a 100 million of the little bastards!
So one drop could, in theory, impregnate a multitude of women!

Very low risk if you're 'double dutching'.
The only ways you could get pregnant are:
1. Condom splits or you dont use it properly (ie put it on too late, take it off when he's floppy again and it spills, it comes off mid sex...)
AND
2. Birth control fails. This could be if you've missed a pill, or taken it late, or vommed it up, or are taking other medicine/supllements that stop it working.
I'm sure it'll be fine dear. If anything funny happens with the condom and you're worried, you can use emergency contraception up to 3 days after sex

Anything is possible!! But the chance of pregnancy using a condom and birth control is slim. Unless the condom breaks and you aren't consistant in taking the pill. Then I'd say yea, it could happen.

There is definitely the potential for that to happen. Neither are 100% safe, so combine the two margins of error and you're left with the percent chance of it happening. Unfortunately, there's human error involved. Both condoms and birth control pills can be used, and often are used, incorrectly.

Yes you can, there are small but significant failure rates of every method of birth control (other than not having sex of course). using two or more methods together, such as birth control pills with a condom, greatly reduces the chance of getting pregnant compared to either one alone, but there is no such thing as being able to prevent pregnancy 100% of the time.

You can definitely still get pregnant, it's just your chances when using birth control and a condom are smaller than if you don't use these methods. Condoms also help prevent STD's too though, so always use one!

Yes - there is always a 1% chance with a condom (unless it breaks, then it gets higher), and a 1-3% change depending on the type of BC you take. So, yeah...you can still get pregnant even with BC and condoms. Although, it is not as likely.

Yes there is always a chance.... I had a friend who was on birthcontrol and got pregnent. And I had a friend who had a vasectomy got his wife pregant and didnt belive it and had a Dna test done and it was his. So you can never be a 100% protected! So be carefull use spremacide too!

This is a probability question
Condom - 99.9%
Birth Control - 99.9%
Prob (Pregnant) = "Condom Fail " (AND) "Birth Control Fail"
P(Preggers)= (1-99.9%) AND (1-99.9%)
The fact that you use birth control and a condom are mutually exclusive.
Pregnant = (.01)*(.01) = .001%
Combining the two are 99.999% effective
1 out 100,000 times you have sex you will get pregnant.
