My Chinese friend needs an English name for convenience' sake
She a girl of 19, quite short but very clever, very active.
Her Chinese name is Ruizhi, Zhang is the family name, Ruizhi, which in Chinese meaning "with wisdom".

I have to agree with the above - Rosie is a good choice.
My boyfriend's sister was adopted from China and she was given an entirely different first name, but kept her Chinese first name as her middle name - Her name is now Holly Ruan.
