First off, I believe Roger did take steroids, but his numbers with Boston should still be regarded because he used steroids when he was with Toronto.
Andy Pettite briefly used human growth hormone in 2002 to recover from a painful elbow surgery. Now, Roger probaly decided to use steroids in 1997 when Dan Duggette, former Red Sox general manager, said that Roger was "in the Twilight of his career". Since then, he was won 4 Cy Youngs and 2 World Series rings. He has reached 350 wins, 4000 strikouts, and is regarded as the greatest pitcher of his era. Now, those numbers are invalid because of this 'information' from
What would Clemens say?
"Andy, I proud being your friend and your decision to admit that you did take HGH has made me realize that I should come forward about my steroid use. My problem is I don't know how to tell people that I've lied about steroids and that I've taken them to boost my career. I was stupid and too headstrong. I wanted to take steroids to keep playing baseball and keep playing a game that I've played all my life. I was regarded as a good pitcher, but now my legend is fading and I'll sit among the names of Pete Rose, Joseph Jackson, and Edward Seacock. "
I can't see myself retired because :
"What would Roger Clemens be without baseball?"

Roger Clemens probably would say: Im a pompous, arrogant liar and a cheat. I care for no one but my piglard self. I think Im bigger than baseball and God's gift to the world. There is no way in the world that i would admit to something like that. I will go on preaching not to take drugs so none of you take them which would open up the opportunity for you to surpass me. How in the world do u people expect me to fess up on my useage of drugs when im STILLL using and therefore, my judgment is impaired and i am most definetly in denial. Dont aggravate me or accuse me of n e thing. Gimme the benefit of the doubt or ill roid rage and skeet all ova ur face. I am not a crook. I only stole cy awards from randy johnson, pedro martinez and Mark Mulder. You will bow to me. Now lets move on and talk about me.

Roger Clemens denied it through a YouTube video. He didn't want to address the media formally. He claimed he never used steroids and/or HGH and that the allegations were ludicrous and made him very angry. He stated that steroids are dangerous, and then finally, that he was going to enjoy Christmas with his family.

I don't believe Clemens would have anything to say about what Pettitte may or may not have done.

he's really not obligated to say anything. He has a right to his silence and since he hasn't failed a drug test (and probably won't take one) we have no REAL proof.
