I will be celebrating Festivus this Sunday, in fact! We will be doing all of the above, and I'm even working out with weights to be better at the Feats of Strength.
Enjoy your Festivus! Of course, I will be celebrating the Winter Solstice the day before, too.

I will be celebrating Christmas with my family this year, but I also observe the Solstice, we pretty much do the airing of grievances all year long, that doesn't take one special day - if you screw up, you're gonna hear about it. Feats of Strength - yeah that's me struggling to keep my eyes open til the kids drop off to put the presents under the tree (the ones they don't get to open of Christmas Eve) then struggling with the f$3eing wrapping paper to cover those awkward packages and hauling the kids to bed (they are starting to get heavy for me). Then there's the crisis cleaning ritual and the cooking and the people and the messes and the snow!
Yes, I love it all and wouldn't change a thing as long as I get to see my sons' smiling faces.

I'm more of a Yule/winter solstice girl...the holiday that was there before the Christians hijacked the "return of the sun" for their "return of the son."
