I just want to know about ghosts! Do they exist really???????

Harry, this subject is more important than religion to some people. Watch the reaction my answer gets and you'll see what I mean.

Ghosts may exist, but not in any supernatural way. They are most likely the products of guilty consciences. But the idea that there is any ephemeral energy that can live in the world after the body is dead is patently absurd.

But people who want to believe in this fairy tale hate to hear that particular answer.

Upon careful consideration, I've decided to revise my answer a bit...

There's no SCIENTIFIC evidence to say that ghosts exist, and since I tend to believe only what can be shown scientifically, I do not believe in ghosts or spirits.

Science, however, only explains the natural world. Ghosts and spirits must be supernatural if they exist at all; that is, they are capable of transcending the natural laws that bound and control our universe. I don't see how we could observe and interact with any entity that exists outside of our physical realm. After all, in order for a ghost to become visible to a human, the ghost would have to emit or reflect light, which is a very natural phenomenon. And really, asking if ghosts exist is like asking if God exists. Do YOU believe in them? If so, then they exist for you, but that still doesn't make them "real" things.

So I personally object to the idea that ghosts could be real, but I will still recant that objection if anybody can provide solid scientific evidence. And this is still the wrong section for this question.

As you can see easily, so many believers above me.

I have never heard a term like 'unreal existence.' So try to correct the term first. its 'existent vs non-existent'.

3. What about........?
There is only one thing for sure; they are always related to the past. and remains invisible. So let bygone, be bygone.

They become semi-visible, scare and harm the only people who believe them.

Ghosts are movements which occour in the human mind.When we are not consious or if we are out of mind we will begin to see things which will scare us. But I believe that ghosts can't hurt anyone. They are just moving imagaes which we see.
Human's minds may fall mentaly. At such instances we may see some images that occour mentally.

Yes, they exist, I have seen them.

When I was younger, around 8 or 9, I saw the ghost of a civil war soldier, he had a bandage wrapped around his head, was holding a gun, but no one believed me.

For years I didn't believe, then in my mid-30's I saw one and am convinced that there's alot more to this realm than they teach in school. I've had to modify my pragmatism. Science doesn't know everything...neither do I, but I know what I saw.
Wasn't scary, more like a gee-whiz moment. Life still has suprises. Only believe!

hey harry, this is no joke, ghostsreally do exist i have seen photos in mags of furnature been moved mid air in some houses and i have personally experienced such a event. i was 10 at the time, don't believe me if u must but this is a ture story, i was up late wtching tv in my room and my parents were next door. i fall asleep and when i woke up this cold floating thing was floating over my arms and it scared the lights out of me, i pissed my pants and screamed like a girl! when my parents came in the thing was gone but my parents believed as they always do and the next day my parents took me to the police station cause my dad was a cop and he did a lie detecter thing test on me, and they proved it was ture.
