Could be...I don't think so, though, because Tang is a powdered drink mix.
After walking on the moon, I'd be willing to bet he's got some really good beers to simulate the same effect!

In the early days of the US space program, the astronauts on the Mercury and Gemini missions did bring Tang on board. However, I once attended a presentation by Ed Mitchell, one of the Apollo 16 astronauts, and he said that by the time of the Moon missions, they weren't using Tang anymore.

Tank is powdered so only in fridge after water is added. Would hope that Neil would have better taste since Tang is pretty yucky

Do they still make that stuff? Yuck. I didn't like it back then and I undoubtedly wouldn't like it any better today. And I seriously doubt that Mr. Armstrong likes it--he just got paid to hawk it!!!
