Do you rush to another's defense often or do you usually try to stay out of other peoples battles?

Depends upon the person. If the person being attacked is weaker, innocent, and/or helpless, I jump in to defend the person. If the person is ornery, belligerent and/or asking for trouble, I let him/her fight their own battles.

Oh I'm a smoother-over kinda person, so I'm always getting myself in trouble rushing to others defense.....I hate confrontation but can't stand to see others in an argument...

If there is real trouble stay hidden and call 911.
