i have been with my fiancee for a year now and we have been sleeping together for 9 of those months . through them nine months we have not been using contraception but how and ever we dont have sex every day it could only be once every week or soometimes every second day and sometimes it might be once every fortnight . partly because we are not living together yet. there are two girls on my block who have slept with countless men and they have become pregnant but when i explained it to the doctor he told me its difficult for girls who have slept with alot of people to get pregnant because it damages you . i havent slept with many people and i had a smear test and that came back fine . i just cant iunderstand why some people take ages and others get pregnant really easy . im starting to think il never conceive. please help

I'm afraid that's life. Seems those who want a child often find it hardest to achieve this.

Best advice I can offer (coming from a man trying to help wife convieve, and it's a nice job) is to relax, simply enjoy the sex, possibly it's a hint from above to wait till after the wedding . . . .

If you are sure you are ready, get an ovulation test kit, use it for a couple of months till you know your "most fertile" and best chance days, then focus your sexual energies on these days.

But seriously, best thing to do is NOT stress, but relax, and wait, it'll come in time . . .

It takes any healthy couple up to a year to conceive and in any given month you have a 25% chance to conceive and that is with the healthiest couples. You may not be hitting ovulation days. Don't stress, you will get pregnant and your time will come. When it does it will be more special as you will realize things sometimes doesn't come easy. Wishing you so much luck.

Well first please don't compare yourself to anyone else, you have no idea their true situation and health. Your neighbors are not necessarily damaged because of multiple partners, don't assume. You on the other hand might consider getting married and making other solid plans with your husband such as making a home together and saving towards the baby you want to make, just a thought.

But yes to answer your first question having sex on the right days means everything in babymaking and your current situation sounds sporadic. That might be a good reason you are having difficulty. Give it some time and try tracking your ovulation with opks.

Good luck and Happy Holidays!
