Girl i get it all the time. Its because back in the day we got thought of as better than darker girls because of our light hair skin and eyes. Alot of girls still think like that and sadly enough in some places around the US its still like that. and in others even if you're parents are both black we get called half breeds and hated on something terrible. its just ignorance I've met guys that will still follow the paper bag test but not date a white woman. In my opinion people's minds haven't moved on with the times

Never heard of that, I've seen just as many ugly light and dark blacks, so I wouldn't think that. People think I'M a snob(and conceited), not because of my skin color, but because of how I look and my style.
I happen to think my 2 cousins are conceited and they are both neither light or dark skinned.
See if you are always told that you look good alot people assume this crap.

Some light skinned girls do think they are all that...I don't like it. Its because guys typically put them on a pedestal. I know not all are that way but there are plenty that are so conceited.

back in the days dark skin woman has to work outside while lighter skin blacks worked inside the house got treated better.
