The platypus is not poisonous. You can eat them with no problems at all and the Aboriginal people still do. The male platypus has venomous spurs on the back legs which can cause excruciating pain in humans. Poisonous and venomous are not the same thing.

I would say platypus. They have a spine on their legs that is poisonus and they lay eggs so best guess the platypus.

I'd say a platypus but they don't 'live' under water. They hunt for food underwater but 'live' implies they spend all of their time there (like whales live underwater, except to breathe).
