I think these will appeal to you because they are sorcery fantasy books:

http://www.life-after-harry-potter.com

Included is a list of only the best sorcery fantasy books, grade reading level, a short review of each book along with a brief summary of adult content. There is also a "Readers' Choice" list of favorite books, and a list of heroine sorcery fantasy books.

I also recommend "Dracula", free online. Surprisingly excellent, but don't be put off by the way it starts out - excruciatingly slowly. By the time you finish, you'll wonder why no one ever told you about this book before. It's great, and the basis for nearly every vampire book or movie since.

I hope this helps.

Try Interview With A Vampire, by Anne Rice. If you like it, there is a whole series of books that follow.
