I'm stuck in school untill 1:55 p.m. (it's only 9:24 a.m. now) and it's my last day before winter break, so naturally, it's gowing by at a snails pace. What do I do???

Keep busy. There usually is an assembly or something, right? If not. then clean your locker or actually read or something. If you are getting stuck with homework over break get a head start. If all else fails crawl off to somewhere safe and take a nap.

I understand your situation. I work as a temporary receptionist and wherever I go they never give me any work other than answering the phones...but i have to pretend to be "working" in order to look professional...I look for stuff on the web, yesterday i found yahoo answers and it had me entertained for about 4 hours, but i guess its old to you by now. here is a list of stuff i do
1. tie up loose ends...pay bills, make a budget, write out the gifts left to buy for the holidays, research where to get them.
2.pick a topic you have always wanted to know more about (herbal medicine, global warming, ants, how stuff works...
3.read the gossip blogs (perezhilton.com, tmz.com)
4.play suduko

Might as well check some interesting web sites as long as you have access to the computer. How about surfing sites? Surfer Mag or Surfing or Surfline, look around, check some videos. Or skate sites. I like volcanos , theres a USGS site on volcanos thats good. Or a travel site, check out Hawai'i and Fiji, or price real estate in Paraguay and Hong Kong.

Keep busy and don't think about the time. Before you know it, you will be outta there. Like a watched pot never boils? Don't watch the clock or it will seem to be broken. Just keep busy!!!

If you get into your homework that you have over the break, it'll help you enjoy your break better because then you don't have to worry about homework.
