I am 18 years old. I had trouble sleeping last night.
In the morning I measured a body temperature of 102.
Also, blood pressure seems to be normal, but my pulse rate is close to 130. I believe my pulse rate was consistently around that number last night. My body feels overheated. I also have body aches on my hands, face, and knees. And perhaps a slight chest pain in the heart area? Are these all symptoms for just an ordinary fever (it's been a really long time since I've felt this sick.) Just kind of occurred spontaneously.
Thanks

Have you had a strep throat recently? If so, see a dr immediately. These body aches: are they muscle aches, or do they feel more centered in your joints. It could be ordinary fever, but if you have easy acces to a dr. I'd call. Also; go to the ER if you also develop a stiff neck with these symptoms - a sure sign of menningitis. Hope you feel better soon, pal...
best regards!

Your pulse is way to fast. You could be having an anxiety attack because your worring about everything else. Take some motrin for that fever. Get some rest. The trouble sleeping is due to your fever. Body aches come with the flu. Drink plenty of fluids. This will pass.

Sounds like a fever, maybe a touch of the flu. You might want to get to the doctor just to make sure.

aches and pains could just be a sign of a cold or the flu but if you are having chest pains near your heart then you might want to see a doctor

Resting pulse rate of 130, see a doctor, or stop snorting that stuff.

Go to http://www.webmd.com and put in your symptoms there. You have a fever anyway, so go see a doctor! And the icreased heart rate may just be a result of thinking/worrying about it too much.

Sounds like you have a flu bug, but you should really see your health pro, because those symptoms could indicate several serious conditions.
