16 or so, not legal obviously but the best age to start doing SOMETHING. Your height must be at least 5'9 or more. You should weigh, like, 115 Ibs. And if you'll do catalouges and stuff too, than your face must be pretty too, I guess. But these are only my guesses. But even these are NOT enough. You need a decent portfolio, and you need to be well connected. But EVEN if you have all these things, you still might not make it. So think again, I'd say. And going to a modelling school does help, or so I've heard.

you cant just "become" a supermodel, you have to be discovered by a huge modelling agency like FORD, and then you have to get huge mega contracts, there are MANY models, but only like a handful of those are catagorized as supermodels...
all the supermodels right now are extremely beautiful
and over 5'10 in height, very long and lean....
think Giselle....
a SIZE 8 would be FAT in the world of modelling, most of the models are a 2/4....and the largest being a 6 like Tyra banks...and she is 5'11

there are no "requirements" - that term is used only by wannabes and by people uneducated about modeling. there are only preferences, and even if you fill those, it's a hell of a hard time trying to get a contract. you then have to take classes and deal with industry people that will make you hair curl. so all i can give you is this:
age: less than 25
height: more than 5'7"
weight: depends on height, but no more that 135 lbs for 5'11" and no more than 115 lbs. for 5'7". of course, there's also plus size, but i won't go into that.

Height: 5'9+
Skinnyness: you gotta be pretty thin, apart from if you wanna be a plus size model such as sophie dahl
Confidence: Self confidence and pure egotism are important.
Age: Best to start young. Giselle, Kate Moss, Naomi Cambell all started incredibly young.
As a former said, men don't find supermodels that attractive.

Basically you need to be young, tall, thin, extremely beautiful, and able to perform well in front of a camera. Supermodels tend to be born rather than made, and they are not employed for their education or qualifications. Sure, a certain limited amount of modelling school/agency training could help to improve your technique etc, but no reputable agency will consider giving you this unless you really are in fact young, tall, thin, and extremely beautiful.

You have to be over 5,7 in height. weight doesn't really matter as long as your well proportioned. you would do better if you were about a size 8. depends what type of moddeling your into. You have to have clear skin too. However modelling is very hard to get into,.

you have to be anorexic, 8 feet tall and on drugs...
I don't get it, I think most supermodels are hideous, don't really see the beauty in it. (Yeah I said it.)
