xmas is for children, new year is for adults.
i love xmas with my three kids ("look- santa's been!" etc etc) but come dec31st when the kids are in bed i get all dressed up, drink absolut vodka in club with my hubby and friends, make new year's resolutions i always break, hug strangers at midnight while wishing them all the best. feel warm and contented, happy and drunk. bliss. Happy New Year!
