i want to be a zoologist who works with big cats

I work at London Zoo and I am also allergic to cat hairs. I have never had an allergic reaction to the tigers or the lions (I'm usually just a few inches from the male lion, and he has never affected me).
If you are handling the tigers, then you may get a reaction, but if you're working in a zoo-like environment, where big cats are minimal contact animals, the risk would only be slight.
Keep an allergy relief tablet on you, just in case!

There's no telling for sure without trying. However, even if you work with big cats, you won't have the same intimacy as with a tame cat. Besides that, there are various medical approaches to dealing with allergies. If you really want to do this, any allergies can be dealt with.

making plans on having a puppy tiger? lol i'm allergic to cats and theory approximately this too. yet another element ive questioned approximately.. it is kinda gross, yet i've got questioned in the journey that your allergic to cats dander, could you apart from mght be allergic to eating them? no longer that i could ever consume a cat!!!! yet yeah.. jus curious! Cuz im allergic to eating fowl/turkey/duck, and likewise allergic to feathers. if this is wise? sorry doesnt quite answer your question.. i had alot of hypersensitive reactions and way too lots time to think of whilst i grow to be youthful lol

go around some big cats go visit a zoo and see what happens you can find out that way just being near there cages you would be able to tell.ask a vet.

I'm not sure about your allergy question, but be assured that a tiger will not be allergic to YOU.

i dont think an allergy would be your biggest problem. Being eaten ranks higher!
