Dont know about chemicals but their are some types of fish and snails that kill algae

You need a good filtration system and lots of plants for cover.
Hydrogen peroxide will help iwth string algae but only string.
Cut down on your feeding too. Many people don't feed the fish at all so that the fish eat the algae.

No! If you really care about the fish, a fact you should know is some fish actually eat algae! Algae is a very important food to angel fish and butterfly fish. If you kill algae, it'll affect the whole world! So don't do it, please and thank you.

We use Turbo Twist in our filtration system.
It's a UV light that kills the bad bacteria but allows good to go back into the pond.
Change filter often.
Clean lines too.
I have tried many chemicals and they don't work.

ask ur acquarium person 4 a medicine...
here r sum things u can do to protect ur fish:
1) clean tank regularly...
2) attach a filter or a pump to absorb all dirt.
3) put 2 or 3 scavenger fish into ur tank- they will stick to da walls of ur tank and clean up all da dirt
4)have medicines to protect ur fish 4rom parasitic infections etc...

Aeration will fix it. Simple pump and/or sprayer. No chemicals needed.
