I have a 2000 chevy malibu My mechanic says I need a strut, a strut mount and strut plate. He said I needed it a.s.a.p and not to drive much. I was wondering does this "Strut assembly package include all 3 things I need. http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/details/QQChevroletQQMalibuQQKYBQQStrut_AssemblyQQ19982003QQKY334295.html
Thanks...

P.S. what happens if i don't get the strut fixed?

These items are sold seperately, if you do not fix this you could and probably will damage the driveline, wheel/tire, brake assbly, steering parts and the worst case senario the wheel will fall off. this is if you let it get bad enough.
ps feel free to call me, im a mechanic with the day off.lol

Go to Advance or your nearest Auto Parts Store and ask for a Monroe Quickstrut, it will come with everything you need already assembled and you can probably even do the job yourself. The quickstrut comes with a spring and all mounts and isolators already installed out of the box.

If you do not get it fixed you will prematurely wear other suspension components and you r tires as well as jeopardizing the safety of you, your passengers, and other drivers on the road if the unit experiences catastrophic failure.

No, it doesn't include all. If you don't fix it, it'll suddenly fall down on that corner, and possibly have an accident.

people are so stuck on the net...pick of the phone and talk to a real person...save yourself a lot of aggravation.
