Well, some of us hate where we works, want to get better job, want to get better paid.. So why don't we do just pull Petrino, Rodriequez, and screw our bosses.. or the companies that we are working for.. and say screw them..

Rodriguez - Its a better job (its still Michigan) and better pay. You take it when that situation comes up.

Petrino - The players hated him, the player he was brought in to coach is in prison, and the team sucked. He was gonna get fired anyways. Quit on your own instead of getting fired.

I would do the same thing. Everybody here has been screwed by a company at some point. There is no loyalty on either side. Everybody is just looking out for themselves.

Well under law I live in a State where I could. I am under contract(application and hiring) to go as long as I work BUT either side can end that contract at any time for any reason, or no reason. So if I got a better job offer I'd have the right to do that. I have loyalty keeping me where I am to some degree, the lack of the offer to some degree as well. Although why not pull a Petrino and walk out to go to the other job when you still have 3 hours to work or so.

Petrino and Rodrieguez are NOT ion the same category.

Petrino: The day before he leaves, he told the media and his boss that he did not talk to Arkansas and that he was staying.
Petrino left in the middle of the regular season and didn't even address his players. He left notes in their lockers.

Rodrieguez: Had a $4 million buy out clause. WVU promised him that they would begin construction to upgrade practice facilities, and to date they haven't started. The day before Rodriguez left, he didn't lie to the media, he told them that he wasn't going to talk about it. He addressed his players face to face before accepting the job.

In summary: Petrino = sleaze
Rodriguez = let down by his employers
