The only way you can go to another level is to complete a serious answer to a problem involving something they teach you in school? Why every game almost that is invented has to be fun or deadly or something but the kids and/or adults, don't learn anything from the game other than how to cheat to beat it?

I think that is a wonderful idea. I don't play video games, but it seems like the ones that I see advertised are mostly about killing and there's always some way to cheat to get the next level. Maybe kids aren't interested in learning as much as being entertained.

They are there, some people like them and some don't.
My Grand daughter had 11 16/17 year old at her birthday party last week end, they played the Smarter than a fifth grader, and Taboo, then drug out old games, sorry, clue, even scrabble. They had a ball, but I was surprised that several mentioned they had never played games as a family. Some remarked about having to beg parents to play the kiddie games ie: candyland, chutes and ladders. In this case I'm afraid that the parents are to blame.

Researchers recently have concluded that youngsters are missing out on a valuable learning experience by not playing board games which teach imagination, strategy and attaining goals now that they grow up playing computer games.

there is a lot out of them on the market and my great nieces haves a bunch of them -- only problem is i think sometimes my sister is pushing them to fast!!! but i learned a long time not to talk to parents or grandparents!!! wally do not throw the baby out with the wash water!!!

Because kids don't want to learn stuff they just want to have fun. And if kids don't want them ,they won't sell.

maybe games are meant to provide entertainment. the world today is such a stressful one.
