It probably depends on what state you live in. I know in Ohio you can use it for any type of doctor, but some doctors(not too sure about chiropractors) you need to get a referral from a family doc. Your best bet would be to call your case worker or insurance and ask them what is covered but I want to say at least a family doc would be covered.

if you have medicaid for pregnant women it has to be a matter concerning the baby for medicaid to pay for it if you have an ob ask him for a referal for a family doctor or chiropractor that takes medicaid for pregnant woman. I was able to see a councelor with my medicaid but I had to find the right one that would take the medicaide for pregnancy. if you dont have an ob call the medicaide office and ask for a referal. If that doesnt work you will just have to call around to diffrent doctors and explain your specific situation make sure you make it clear that you have medicaid for pregnant women because its a diffrent program.

Believe your family doctor. Think about it - You've had a terrible knee for EIGHT years - Since you fell, your knee hasn't been the same - If your knee was dislocated, you wouldn't be able to move it - Orthopedic doctors do not take half a year to make appointments - Dislocated knees aren't left untreated for 8 years - Your xray showed nothing, if your knee was dislocated, it would show Believe your doctor, he knows alot more than this chiropracter. Go back to him and he should be able to help you. You should have this bandage wrap that you can put around your knee, it'll support the knee cap and stop it from going out of place.

No, if you do not have full Medicaid, it will not cover that kind of visit. If you had Medicaid prior to pregnancy then it would cover. When you applied for Medicaid due to pregnancy that is what your benefits are for. There are several different types of Medicaid benefits.

I am not completely sure about the family doctor. I would suspect that you can since your health is critical to your baby's and there are just some thing that OB's won't take care of. I can pretty much guarantee you that it won't cover chiropractics.
