I will be thinking of someone on Christmas Eve, look up at the night sky longing for her and I will wonder if she might be doing the same.

Underneath the Christmas cheer, I will be blue.

I'll be missing my paternal grandmother Ruby.

She passed away at this time last year and Christmas just doesn't feel the same without her sitting in a corner with a glass of sherry in her hand and a wonky christmas hat on her head.

I really do miss her so much but the memories are a good thing to have

Missing someone at Christmas takes the joy out of the holidays. The Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) a form of 'emotional acupressure' helps you release negative feelings by using tapping on acupressure points with you fingers. Here is an article for using EFT when you are missing someone this Christmas:

i always miss my mom a bit, because she was the one who made me love Christmas so much as a kid. it wasn't about the presents, she did lots of decorating and crafts with me. i do the same with my kids and it sucks that she's not here to participate in it.

My daughter lives overseas and won't be home so I'll miss her. But she'll probably call and isn't that the next best thing to being there?

I will be missing my grandpaernts as they were the best grandparents in the world, they brought soooo much love and unjudgemental understanding into my life and I really miss them, no one will ever take their place.
