Get him a gift certificate to the movies so that he can go see a few movies with some friends (and Mom of course). Or get him one of the new DVD's that came out this season, ask his mom if she already got any. Get him new sneakers, take him with you and go to lunch, get him a lego kit.

Sorry yet that boy is SPOILT. i'd think of something below a real automobile, a puppy elephant or a holiday to disneyland would be disappointing for him. 2 play stations, 2 DS consoles, an iPod touch, a Wii and all this distant administration equipment?! he's no longer James Bond. have self assurance me, the Xbox is the final difficulty you will desire to get him. If he needs a table, get him a table. To make it relaxing you additionally can get him some cool stuff to apply with the table. Cool new table certain, or a cool chair. Get him a image physique of him and his toddler brother to post. some sweeties to put in the drawers. and doubtless some issues to beautify around his room. So quite than "We have been given you a table..." it quite is "we are making your room super cool!" set up all his contraptions on some new cabinets so he notices them and doubtless makes use of them some extra! And, for the sake of his character, carry decrease back slightly for further provides. purchase reports and adeventures as a replace of high priced toys. fix a basketball hoop in the backyard. Take him for a visit to a zoo or farm. Get canvases and enable him paint them whether he likes to cling around the residing house. Have water fights. Set him up a gardening patch in the backyard so he can strengthen vegetables or vegetation. Get a sandpit or a bicycle. artwork with him to construct a birdhouse for outdoors or a kite. This boy needs to be inspired in all diverse techniques, no longer merely with innovations-numbing television displays.

Ask for a Christmas list to "give to Santa Clause, or Saint Nicholas, or Father Christmas" (whatever you call him). Put it in an envelope and act like you are going to ship it to the North Pole...but later open it up and see what it is your bro wants for Christmas.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Depends what he's into.

If he's a spider man freak - there are plenty of options around.
Or maybe the classic scalextric racig track and cars - everyone likes those!

Get youself down to your nearest large toystore for inspiration. Hamley's in London is a great example.

What about an mp3 player? Or a DVD of his fave TV show's seasons. Merry Christmas!

I was thinking of those remote controlled cars but that may be a little too advanced for a 9 year old ^^

What does he like? How about a remote-control car/truck/plane, etc? Some of them are very reasonably priced. I would suggest anything that can be manipulated - do you have anything like "Magnetix" or "Tinker Toys"? Does he like action figures? You can always ask your parents for ideas, too. :-)

A small Drum kit? The electric ones are rather cheap.
