Yeah. I agree with her sentiment on being able to move the fence to other areas that might need it more than the ones outlined in the original bill. But her obliviousness to the fact people will use this as an excuse to not build the fence at all irks me to no end.

like anything is going to be passed..then again Hutchison and Bush are tight..the fence may be the symbolism the Repubs don't want to deal with

I am all for our Gov't agencies to be responsible and held accountable for the laws they don't enforce..like illegal immigration

I was shocked that they came up with that energy bill..that GWB said he would sign..too bad Congress doesn't work to do anything more than create soundbites for campaigning

I don't believe the majority of Americans understand the consequences of this PORK FILLED BILL, nor the consequences of the "promised double layer fence" being absolutely GUTTED. I also do not believe that all of our officials even read the entire bill. Shame on those who "rushed and pushed" this bill through. All's I can say, is WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!

Along with enough pork to feed China for 6 years.

Face it, the current crop of crooks in Congress will NOT abide by the sentiment of the majority of Americans.

NEVER RE-ELECT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow if you know about it, they did a pretty terrible job of hiding it...

Seems pretty useless anyway, Bush never BUILT the fence, so what is there to GUT?

Don't forget the $17 million bike trail. Americans don't want to know they just want to call names.
