The USA always supports extremist countries if doing so serves its purposes. The USA supported the Taliban in Afghanistan. They supported Saddam Hussein for years. The reason they knew he had weapons of mass destruction was that the USA gave them to him. Unfortunately Saddam used them so there were none left when the USA went looking. The behaviour of the USA in Central and South America over the years is nothing short of appalling. The USA is only interested in rich Americans getting richer. They spend trillions of dollars on war and yet have millions of their citizens without adequate health care or education. There are more beggars on the streets in the USA than in many third world countries.
The USA should try cleaning its own act up before interfering in or causing any more foreign wars.
