i need a wav. file to put on my slide show but all i can download is mp3s. how do i convert it, or use mp3s throughout the whole show?

Go to Insert - Movies and Sounds and insert it form a file or wherever you have the mp3 stored. There is a problem in here because if you try to send that file to another computer or somewhere else the mp3 won't play. It will play only if you sent the mp3 file with the Powerpoint Show.
Another way to do it is record the mp3 inside the powerpoint presentation and it will always be there. To record go: Go to Insert - Movies and Sound - Record
