--AOL Postmaster
Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. A block
has been placed against your IP address because we have received complaints
concerning mail coming from that IP address.

(I'm confused. I hope I wasn't blocked by this person...)

Have you been spamming?

If you send a e-mail with a lot of addresses on it, say 15 or more, you may trigger a spam filter. Or the recipient may have accidentally put a block on your ID. In which case you will need to contact him from a different IP address and a different e-mail address.

Try to send the e-mail with only one address on it.

Next hold off from sending this person e-mails for 4 days. If the spam filter was tripped at his ISP it will automatically reset in 72 hours.

If you are the user of the "Hotmail", and sent an email to a friend who uses AOL" , I interpret what you have stated that a block as been put on your IP address by "AOL Postmaster".

Some one has filed a formal complaints againt the emails that you are sending out.

If the email is legitimate (it is hard to determine without looking at header information) it would appear that your email address has been blacklisted, probably because it was reported to an anti-spam organization (such as SpanHaus) or AOL as an account that is sending out significant amounts of spam..

I think your computer has a virus/spyware, which uses your computer to send out the spam. This may also be the reason why people reported your email and may be why you got that message. I think you should get a good antivirus program, like AVG, which is free.

I hope this helped you!
