Indians are not fit for Democracy at all. That's the reason why we are a Corrupt Country . That's the reason why our politicians who are thorough bred corrupt , made Reservation Policy through legislation dividing the whole Indian society in small fragments to have respective Vote Banks. This is unheard of in any other Democracy in the whole world.
We deserve Dictatorship ...... under a strict leader ......from Army or out of the civilian lot.I think, History is not created by any individual nor a leader is created through history. The vents and circumstances create a leader to write a new chapter in History of any country. We need a Subhas Ch. Bose or an army Leader like .....Col.Nasser of Egypt or Col. Gaddafi of Libiya.Even an army Leader like (Gen) Musharraf will do a lot of good for this country.

Even Ram Rajaya was akin to Democracy and so is Panchyat Raj, Democracy is most suited for Indians but what we lack is strong strong willed leaders for Administrative purposes. For the present we have yielded ground to Castiest and vote bank politics which is very harmful for the Country.

Sure ,like many of our friends stated in unequivocal terms Democracy is the governance of choice in any civilized country. But the power and winning ways in elections are in the hands of the thugs, bullies, goondas and all unscrupulous elements . How to free it from them is the question. Ohterwise it is a mere rhetoric for the dictatorship of the 'elected' unwanted elements only! The other problem is that we tend to mistake disorderliness and run of the will with scant regard for others as liberty and freedom. We are left to behave the way we like and vote every five years.Lee kuan Yew , the man who ruled so successfully for more than two decades and created a model city state of Singapore said that discipline is most important in democracy otherwise it would turn into anarchy. Are we not witnessing it?Time we did something, all of us!

Yes it is best suited for Indians, however meanminded
politicians have vitiated the atmosphere, people should
understand their wicked game as they are dividing
the great Indians on the basis of caste & community
reservation thereby weakening the democracy.

Absolutely - Democracy has been a failure in India. India requires controlled democracy like Singapore or possibly communist+capitalist type of governance.

India is a spoilt child of freedom mother. Only a dictator father can stern the present condition, otherwise, we will go to heaven - for sure.

YES.....both for the indians, Native Amrican/s and the people of the great Asian country called "India". When we say 'indians', it may be mis-understood ! But what are the other forms of rules ...? 1. Dictatorship 2. Autocracy 3. Military junta 4. King/Queens' rule. 5. ???? (some body tell...)..........none is better than "democrcy". But conditions apply......thanks.

Of course. Indians are people just like everyone else. Anyone who tells you that any culture is not suited for self determination is an elitist fascist.
