I hate cocky people

Maybe at first, but I'm prone to get to the center of an individual and figure out what makes them that way. I've found in most cases that the person who is cocky has a serious insecurity about something in their life. Usually they don't get close to many people and if you can break the ice with them to have a friendship, then they can really be a great person. I'm not saying there are NO cocky people that I could care less for, but I gave them a fair shot just like anyone else before I came to my conclusion. :)

I get told I'm cocky all the time.
Personally I don't give a ****, I know that I have confidence, and I'm not going to change.
I know people who have low confidence and I feel sorry for them, I can see it in their eyes, and I can only hope they gain a higher level of self esteem. I am not rude to others, in fact I try to be well mannered and respectful, but at the end of the day I am not a pushover.
I know that some people will not like me, but hey, that's life, you will be judged to the day you die, so I don't bother wasting my time on negative opinions of me when there's just as many positive ones.
I think keeping an open mind about somebody and not putting them in a box upon an initial impression, labeling them cocky is SHALLOW, and that is just as bad, if not worse, you judgmental turd.
I know that some people who label others this way are just that, and they can go **** themselves.

To all those confident, cocky men and women out there, I salute you!

They make me laugh. Being cocky is always a mask of being insecure, and these poseurs just broadcast to the world in the actions, and think they exude confidience, which they are obviously lacking. Think about it, why project cocky unless you are worried about how other people see you. Trust me, behind every person who is tagged cocky, is an insecure poseur. Watch, and it will become VERY obvious!!

I haven't been around a cocky person in a long while so I can't remember what they do to me but I would guess I'd be annoyed with their presence.

What I think is funny about cocky people is that they are constantly insulted and teased but they seem to keep that trait until the next time. They are the people we use for our jokes.

I think sometimes we have a tendency to make judgements about people even before we get a chance to know them.
I know.........I have been guilty of this myself. I try not too, but I can catch myself doing from time to time. But, YES at times.

Sometimes but usually those are the fun people who just dont care....it's nice sometimes to remember it shouldnt matter what anyone thinks as long as you like you! (Wow I sounded like an after school special there...)
