I do. I was curious if others don't and why? :)

Thanks for your honesty. I didn't thumbs down those who don't, because I don't want to judge you, but I had a feeling there was many.

Barbara: In answer to your question, I don't assume everybody thinks like I do, that is also why I like Yahoo Answers...it proves it! :)

Merry Christmas Everyone :)

Our daughter was in a car accident 5 years ago. The only person injured was the one not wearing a seat belt. She was thrown from the car, then run over by a truck.

My car was totaled, although the damage didn't look all that bad. The court costs and attorneys' fees were hefty, and various trials and hearings dragged out for four and a half years. Insurance rates shot way up much faster.

The trucker is no longer able to drive for a living, and has no other skills. The family of the dead girl was and is devastated. Our daughter will never be the same, either.

Those of you who don't wear seatbelts are idiots. Even if you're willing to risk your own safety, what happens to you can severely impact a great many people for the rest of their lives.

My car has the type of belts that go around you when the car is turned on,but its just the shoulder part that does that. Then there is another belt that you have to put on over your waist separately but I never use that one since the cops cant see it and its uncomfortable. So I just use the shoulder belt, and I wont drive without it being buckled.
Merry Christmas

If you do; why wouldn't you think that most everybody else does too?
I always wear my seat belt. It's like breathing. It's the only safe way to go.
Merry Christmas.

Its the law here but always. Rear seat belts too are mandatory in UK. Diana was NOT wearing a seat belt.
You'd look pretty stupid rearranging your face with your windscreen huh?
