Drizmal! EXCELLENT word! May I have your permission to add that to my vocabulary? Here in SE Michigan (Hartland) it is about 15 degrees but it is actually sunny. We don't see the sun much in Michigan in the winter. It is usually gloomy, dark and gray.

Sacramento is a lot like Kansas City, but for a good young couple like you guys, I suggest Roseville. Its a growing community and has been recognized in many magazines. Roseville also has inexpensive housing and has low crime. There is a great sports complex with a dog park, and when u are ready to have kids, Roseville is a great place to raise them.

Sunny and cool in the Washington, DC area. Supposed to warm up to 45 degrees today and warmer tomorrow. Warmer
during the weekend.

Good word, Wally--drizmal

Cold, 12 degrees, no wind tho, yeah --- grey/dismal in New England with a foot of snow on the ground and a promise of more tonight. I've seen better and worse days though. I keep the Christmas lights lit during the daytime to keep from getting that SAD syndrome they talk about. I don't have it but it looks cheery inside with the colored lights and the scent of cloves or balsam from the candles I have lit. I go out of my way to improve the "ambiance" on days like this...even light the fireplace in daytime. Merry Christmas~

I like that word drizmal. It suits the day here in Western Washington. 40 degrees, dark, expecting rain all day. Just another typical day. Outdoor plants are waterlogged and I will probably get rained on at least once today.

don't know the temp, but do know it's cold, windy and "drizmal" here in Illinois. foggy too - maybe the wind will blow it out of here pretty soon. with all of the snow on the ground, the temp doesn't go up much - but we did have a "warm" spell on Tues - got all the way up to 34 !!!
