less than can be counted on one hand. I'm certain that there are people there that deserve to be there but, considering the way we got most of them I'm also sure that there are many that don't. If they are so evil and those in the know are so sure then there must be sufficient evidence to take them to trial. the claim that a trial would disclose state secrets is a crock, especially in light of the fact that GWB justifies warrant-less wiretaps are necessary because getting the warrant first (or within 72 hours thereafter) could affect their ability to defend America. If threats come and go so quickly then how can 4 year old intel be worth everything except to convict some of these people.
The fact is that way more have been released because they had no evidence to try them than have been taken to court.
Don't forget that we bought most of them for $10,000 a head bounty from their own countrymen. Isn't it possible that someone would sell out their innocence neighbor for 10 years wages?

3 the thank you to respond to this. a million.) Obidience and compliance- MIlgrams fashionable study grow to be provoked by potential of the holocaust. He found, of standard usual individuals off the line, 60% could proceed electricuting some till they died (they believed) if instantaneous to. the belief is you supply up accountability to somebody of better rank (a matching element grow to be utilized to the yankee soilders bombing a villiage of girls human beings and young toddlers in Vietnam) 2.) Depersonalisation: after all of genocide, there are some usual situations: an us - them physique of ideas in the direction of the percieved underclass, depersonalistion of the perceived underclass (Jews, dark skinned races, homosexuals have been seen lesser than the suitable race), blaming them for all of the themes, believing that the country is in a state of disaster - an extreme answer is mandatory, and a powerful chief 3.) greater at the instant, psychologists have pushed aside Milgram's view a minimum of because it applies to the better point of the chain of command (it may nevertheless practice to you bulldozer motive force). various of the camp guards actively and imagineitively interpreted orders that did no longer actuall call for the holocaust, orders being very obscure. there grow to be an air of competetion for Hitler's favour. The guards have been dedicated to what they have been doing, knew what they have been doing, and that they theory it grow to be the excellent element to do. They theory they have been killing an enamy, they take on the ideology of the team that condones this behavoir lots of the those that have been "to blame" have been sentenced on the nuremberg trial. Others decrease down have been lots greater in all probability to be (or a minimum of sense) they have been purely following orders, to that end heading off guilt that can cause them to suicide. people who took on the ideology does not sense guilt

There is no such place, and to call it a concentration camp is showing a total disregard for the millions who died in nazi camps in WW2. To compare gitmo to a death camp is either stupity of the lowest IQ or partisan politics of the same sort. Shame on you. Research the holocaust and then look at Gitmo. Then grow up and apologize to the millions who you have spit on.

I don't think any have been charged with anything after years of being kept there. The Bush administration has created a huge problem for its self. Even prosecutors resign and no trials have gone forward. Its one of the more shameful things our government has done in my lifetime. Just be glad we are not sent there too....

They don't need to be charged, they have been deemed enemy combatants. But I'm glad there are good Americans like you wanting to set them free so they can go back to plotting against the U.S. and it's citizens. It's people like you that drag this country down.
