I learned to drive on an automatic, but my husband taught me to drive a manual. I recommend everyone learn to drive a manual although it's not that common anymore. I had two manual vehicles over the years, but from now on it's automatic.

I learned on a manual. It is best that way, because then you can drive any car.

it was my brother's old Toyota car. It is manual. It took me 2 years weekend driving lesson to completely have the guts to drive by myself around the city only.
