Thousands of people sent him small individual donations. It isn't like he passed the hat at a Klan rally or at a Buddhist temple.

It's Ron Paul and the only dirt they can find.

Paul accepted a donation from a known white supremacist. While Paul has the right to retain the donation, doing so is downright stupid. He's bound to gain a bunch of negative PR for keeping the donation, and it was only $500. Common sense and pragmatism dictate that it should be returned.

I'm a minority and I could care less. I don't hold him accountable for who his supporters are.

Most candidates have received unflattering donations, Huckabee received contributions from pedophiles, Giuliani's co-chair actually made the statement "blacks are retarded" & Obama not only is backed by the most abrasively anti-gay gospel singers, he had them represent his campaign on his "Embrace the Courage" gospel music tour.

Again I don't hold these candidates accountable for who endorses them, it doesn't mean they share their beliefs.

Paul is obvioulsy not a racist but at the same time he doesn't play a shallow game of gestures where he chooses what individuals can support him

It became Chic in the 90's to label anyone who holds conservative, christian, liberterian, or traditional values as a white supremist or Nazi. My personal opinion: there are pseudo-white supremist groups out there ran by ultra-liberals. These groups goal is to do one thing - intangle good people they target to discredit them, hurt them, get them in trouble ect.

Ron Paul has already stated he does not want their money. If they give it to him, it's not going to be used for thier interests.

most decent folks once learning they had that tainted, hate filled donation, would return it...ron paul doesn't,....nuff said???...and just for a point of reference to your question, perhaps i should share the original a.p. story from yesterday...

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul has received a $500 campaign donation from a white supremacist, and the Texas congressman doesn't plan to return it, an aide said Wednesday.

i can keep this up as long as you ron paul folks want to shove r.p. down our throats...we're sick of hearing all these pontifications of what a great candidate paul is....here's a thought,...STOP DOING THAT!!!!
