First of all let me mention that the score of any partnership cannot be double of team score. It can be more than 505 of the team score.

It was in 1960 when England's 7th wicket partnership reached more than 50% of the team score in the match against West Indies at port of Spain on 25th March, 1960 when the 7th wicket partnership of M.J.K. Smith and J.M. Parts was 197 runs out of team's total score of 303 runs.
