Well im 17 he is 21... my mom isnt to happy about it (even though i did tell her he was 19)

Do you think I should just tell her that we arent seeing each other anymore, because she doesnt want us too...

No, tell her how you feel about him and that you are matured to handle that relationship. She will understand, if she doesn't I guess you have no other option.

Someone asked a similar question the other day. The difference was that the girl was not allowed to see her boyfriend. My answer to her was similar. Either wait until you are 18 or discuss it with your Mother. I don't understand why she would not want you to see him if she thinks he is only 19? There could be another reason. It is always best to not lie about something like that. If you tell her you aren't seeing him, you will have to keep up the lie and if and when she finds out, she will lose trust in you. Good luck

Secrets are never a good thing. If you really like him and he is good to you then I would still date him. However you really need to talk with your mom and tell her the truth. Maybe if she really gets to see the guy YOU see then her opinion will change.
Being a mom I have to ask though, Is there a reason why your mother does like him? Has he done something that she doesn't approve of? I know that I should have listen to mom all those years ago cause sometimes when someone is on the outside of a relationship (like mom) they can see things as they REALLY are. Your mom could have good reasons why she doesn't want you dating him.

Your mum's concerns cld likely 2 be:
1) u guys r too young 2 date
2) what's going 2 happen 2 your studies if u r dating
3) will u both do something tat u r not supposed 2 do at this age.
Talk 2 your mum, assure her that none of the above will happen. If there is any other concerns, solve them together. good luck.

if you are happy with you boyfriend continue seeing him age does not matter as long as there's true Love. 4 years is not that big a difference in age. you don't have to tell you mother everything you do anyway.
