Its normal. diffrent babys like diffrent foods at diffrent times. Besides have you tried the baby food some of the gerbers are good but some arent.
My friend couldnt get her child to eat any thing till after he was one. he would always gag on it.
My son loved food but wouldnt eat baby food. I would give him regular food, as long as i could smash it easily with my fingers, like well cooked potatoes, or well cooked carrots, once he was used to eating more foods id give him things like cherrios but i would make sure i mashed it first. He ate solid foods very early on.

it could be that your little one just isn't ready to start semi-solid foods yet. Don't worry about your milk not being a "complete food" for her because she CAN get all the nutrition she needs from it. Wait a little while longer, and then try gradually introducing things like pureed vegetables, bananas, mashed potatoes, baby "cream of wheat" .etc. Eventually she'll think to herself "hey..this isn't too bad..hmm..I actually kinda like what you just gave me..can I have some more?" and will, more than likely..become a baby that opens her mouth up every time she sees you walk by with your OWN food, lol. Both my son and daughter were like this: VERY reluctant to forgo my boobs for something new and strange to them on a spoon..but I just let them decide for themselves when they were ready to be food-adventurers. My daughter was nearly weaned from breast milk by the time she was 9 months old, and my son at about 8 months..respectfully.
Give your daughter a bit more time, and see how she responds. You'll know when she gives you the "green light."

Both my kids hated rice cereal and bland "first foods" - I'd try her on something with a bit of taste like mashed banana.

At this point, it doesn't matter in the slightest whether you have a routine. You're just getting her used to the idea of food that isn't milk.

My son became this way at 7 months. i began him on solids at 4 months, and prefer one poster pronounced till now, if he had a style of table nutrients, then he possibly needs the genuine stuff. That became into the case with my son. At 7 months, we had Easter dinner and he became into given a spoonful of greenbeans that were sluggish-cooked for 36 hours in hen broth... from there on, there became into no turning decrease back! attempt making waiting table meals on your son. What I did, and that i % to advise doing this, is would set aside a spoonful or 2 of the greens i became into making waiting (candy potato, green beans out of a can, mashed potatoes, squash, and so on.) and would season it slightly (if needed... like mashed potatoes) yet use below what I put in our meals. Then I positioned it in a small nutrients choppers (i % to advise the acquisition of one) and combine his nutrients in there. upload water if needed. If he has any enamel nonetheless, he would desire to be the right age in the beginning some mushy, small good products of nutrients in his toddler nutrients. merely make valuable they don't seem to be too super or too lots, yet he can a minimum of get a experience for it. i do no longer blame your son nonetheless... have you ever tasted toddler nutrients? i'd become bored of it after a pair months besides! :-) good luck to you!
