Are Any Of You Offended About What Fronz Said About Sabine Singh "Greenlee"?

"She may be frustrated by the situation, but she shouldn't be embarrassed: She's being replaced by the Emmy nominee who originated the role."

What?? That is pretty much saying she was really nothing all along and now since we have Budig, "the Emmy nominee" bye-bye. There has been talk about wanting her to stay but why would she after being treated like this?

Honestly I never cared for her as Greenlee but that doesn't mean I'm not appalled at her treatment. It seems like a desperate attempt at success at both parties because ABC wants to boost up AMC's low ratings and Budig wants to come back to her safe-haven after failing in the prime time world.

Both losers.

I've always liked Sabine and think she was treated very badly by a lot of the viewers and the brass at ABC. She stepped into very big shoes to fill and did a great job. She worked well with Zach AND Aidan. They gave her a miserable storyline to begin with.
Budig won't make ratings go up. I never cared for her. She failed in LA and will come back where she was a big fish in a little pond. That's not moving forward, but she's gotta eat.
I wish Sabine the best of everything.

I don't even watch AMC, but I heard about this from Serial Drama (they were rightly offended by the ABC website touting Rebecca Budig as the "real" Greenlee) and it's awful the way Sabine Singh is being treated. Then again, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that she's been dicked around. The brass at ABC routinely crap all over their longtime stars, so why should a newbie be treated with any respect? It's disgusting, but that's Fronsie for you.

I feel incredibly sorry for her. She's a beautiful girl and stepped into a hard role to fill and did a very good job. It's too bad they couldn't discover somehow that she was actually Greenlee's secret sister who scammed everyone in to believing she was actually Greenlee. Heck, it's happened before, why not do it again??!! I'm sure Sabine will leave AMC with a very bad feeling and I don't think that by bringing Rebecca back their ratings will suddenly skyrocket. Oh well. I guess we'll keep watching and find out what happens next.

Anyone who doesn't like how Brian Frons (the president of ABC daytime) treated Sabine, and who thinks she should be rehired (it doesn't have to be as Greenlee, she could come as a new character or to a different ABC soap) PLEASE WRITE to the ABC executives. If they know enough people appreciate her they might do the right thing and hire her back. She didn't do anything wrong-- ABC is desperate to up their ratings and they think bringing Rebecca back will do it.

I think he was just being honest. They had said all along that they had only wanted Rebecca to play Greenlee but she wasn't available at the time they brought Greenlee home. She was filming a tv pilot and guest spots in other shows, she also did a Lifetime movie. Now she is available and for once they listened to viewer outcry that the recast wasn't cutting for a lot of people. Sabine stepped into a hard role and sometimes you just have to accept that viewers only want the original.

I always loved Rebbecca but you're right. As I have said in other answers the money ran out, she couldn't make it in Hollywood so she came back to New York.I think that if ABC offers Sabine another role, she should take it and let her talents do the talking.

I like Rebecca in the role... they should let Sabine stay and say she was an imposter or something. Shes a good actress but we're just used to a different Greens. =}

I hadn't heard about the comment, but I agree. Unfortunately, this is the way ABC operates. One of the reasons I stopped watching GH is because it stopped being about the people who worked at the hospital and became the Sonny/Carly Show or Sopranos Lite. ABC has no respect for the people who work for them, and even less for the fans who watch and support their shows. Their ratings aren't dropping because of Sabine Singh; they're dropping because ABC would rather let the suits dictate their storylines and go for gimmicks rather than relationships, and for the people who watch soaps, relationships are much more important than a shooting or earthquake or blizzard or tornado every other day.

i did no longer get any aye discernment from any of the uproar over this concern that is going on. Is it any concern new in those allegation in Indian political sympathies? Is it the 1st time that those allegements have surfaced? Is any political occasion been excused from those allegements? might desire to we remind Indian leaders approximately "He who's devoid of sin, solid the 1st stone"? friends, we the so referred to as good voters have unremittingly bucked up those politicos. Is my this arrogate no longer authentic? no longer we in charge for sending over 35% crooked parliamentarians to our parliament? If we deliver such super form of crooked participants to parliament, clearly we are able to verify corruption interior the country. What ever we sow that's what we are able to get. i in my opinion locate it nonmeaningful, to shelter the two political occasion over corruption no count if in parliament or in this dialogue board. If anybody says that his or her occasion is far less corrupt, i detect that persuasion as little slanted. want you all an extremely colourful Holi.

just because Rebbecca wants to come back doesn't mean she should. I real jobs, if you quite they hire someone to take your place. they don't fire the new crew if you decide to come back because of your stupid mistake, if anything they find you a new potion to work if they think you can fill that one.

Rebbecca decided to quite, their is no opening for her on this show she could fill, so she should get another job somewhere else.
