There are 60 minutes in a degree (just like there are 60 minutes in an hour). Similarly there are 60 seconds in a minute.

Imagine the first question was 10 hours = ?? minutes. You'd know right away the answer was 600 minutes. 10 x 60 = 600.

Or if I asked 1 minute = ?? hours, the answer is 1/60.

Number 17 is obvious.

And the last one is like adding time. 3 hours 45 minutes + 2 hours 15 minutes = 6 hours. So the answer is 6 degrees.

1. 10 degrees = 4 more than you need to know anyone

2. 1 minute = 50 more seconds than most guys need.

3. 1 minute = long attention span for the average kid

4. 3º45" + 2º15" 4 degrees (very cold Fahrenheit and somewhat cold Celsius) and 60", either a minute or 5 feet.

Hope I helped.
