ever since my boyfriends previous girlfriend cheated on him he hasnt been the same. hes become really sensitive and the littliest things upset him. lately i have been upsetting him alot with careless things i have been saying and its really hard. for example yesterday i was joking and said just because my mum loves me and he got so upset because he assumed tht i meant his mum didnt love him. i hate upsetting him because i really do love him. what should i do?? HELP!!

'First of all apologise for upsetting him. If you really want to help him, then speak and talk through his mind and thoughts. Put yourself in his place and see through his eyes and heart as to what he is going through and how much pain you are causing him.

I think this guy does not deserve you, you sound like a very special and caring person and you are being taken advantage of. He needs to sort out his insecurities on his own time, because if he does not then it will just get worse. his behavious is indicative of an abusive person and you will be doing him a favour by breaking it off with him until he can control his insecurities. He will only continue to upset you and drag you down

Sit down with him one day and talk to him about it, find out what's on his mind, what his thoughts are and let him know you are there for him to help him get through whatever he is struggling with. Tell him no pressure just gotta let him know that you are concerned about him and are there for him.
Try not to smother him or demand every single minute of his spare time, just try and play it cool.

ugh he needs to get over it. You can't walk on eggshells over his prior relationship. Honestly it doesn't sound like he's ready for another relationship until he's actually over the last. While he doesn't want his ex, he's still stuck mentally in that relationship which is why he's being stupid towards you. You're not really doing anything wrong, it's him.
Just talk to him.

he is not acting in a mature manner at all....and needs to be told to grow up. I f he doesnt take that advice and you continue in that relationship....it will probably get worse.....good luck
