Stridharma means duties of a woman. She has to be motherly while feeding her family, she has to be an adviser while giving her opinion in matters relating smooth conduct of family affairs, and she has to give progeny for continuance of the family. She has to have always in mind the welfare of her husband and other members of the family. In this way, stridharma has been broadly defined in Hindu scriptures.
