Emotionally unintelligent? Hmm, well if he has a mental such as autism or any kind of mood disorder and/or if he has a string of short lived or failed relationships. A huge warning sign is anyone who wants to be exclusive right away or wants a commitment within the first few months of dating or cannot tell the difference between sex and love. The type of person who shares too soon is emotionally unintelligent. Another clue is that even though he may be intelligent and well educated he is an underachiever and his career is mediocre at best. The same goes for emotionally dumb women. These people may seem great at first, but it should be obvious very quickly unless you too lack people smarts.

I would assume you mean emotionally unstable? Someone can be in tune with their emotions and not be a genius. Also a person who is book smart may not handle their emotions well. I cannot believe emotions and intelligence are connected and completely controlled by one another. If your grandparents pass away are you too stupid to cry? Maybe your inexperienced. If someone has not experienced certain emotional events like a relationship ending or loss of family member than that is different. Every person handles their emotions differently depending on their overall life experiences. I guess you may need to ask the question differently. If he over reacts allot then he may not be stupid just a little high strong.

Small things, like disregard for the feelings of strangers, being quick to laugh at someone's physical features or misfortune, frequently checking out other women right in front of you, giving you obviously meaningless apologies just so you will be quiet if you are talking or arguing. Keep in mind, though, that men are less emotionally open than women, in general.

Gee, I've never heard that phrase before. I think you're looking for immature, perhaps? The most intelligent of men can be immature. Sometimes a guy is what I call a "dim bulb" which means to me that he just doesn't "get it" and every emotion needs to be explained. Depends on what you're looking for, I guess. Some guys are sensitive, some are not. There are extremes everywhere so there have to be other qualities to factor in.

Their birth gender my dear. Its just not what they are wired best to do. You help show them the way and don't sweat the small stuff. Men and woman speak a different language. No need for games or expect them to read between the lines. Its just to much work and gameplaying is a pain in the ----------

Remember that a person's emotional intelligence never stops growing. Because we are always evolving as people, EQ is something that must be nurtured. If it isnt cultivated, emotional intelligence will disappear.

ITS PRETTY EASY TO TELL,
BODY LANGUAGE SPEAKS PRETTY LOUD.
PLUS YOU CAN JUST ASK HIM STRAIGHT UP.
THAT WAYS GETS ALL THE CONFUSION OUT IN THE OPEN.
