Because it is far too easy to get married. Marriage should be made harder to get than divorce and not be allowed before the age of 21 which would give people time to think. They should also have to prove to a jury that they are fit to marry - for example at least one of them needs to have an I.Q. of 99+ and not the normal 10 to 15 which most teenagers clearly demonstrate when talking of love and marriage.
There should also be EFFECTIVE sex and contraceptive education in schools together with free supplies to reduce the huge rate of ignorance related pregnancies among young gills.

because majority of the people dont want to stand and fight for what they believe in. Society has made divorces easy to get so couples at the first sign of marital challenges would rather take the easy way out instead of fighting for their marriages. And of course TV with all its make believe soap operas doesnt exactly help the cause either. By the way your English is just fine. Happy Holidays

I think there are several reasons for this. First of all, it is more accepted today than it was years and years ago.

Second, couples don't communicate like they should.

Third, couples stop putting that energy into their relationships as they did when they were dating. This leads to boredom and taking one another for granted.

Another factor could be due to the fact that people get so excited that they've met someone that they feel they need to hurry up and get married without ever really knowing the person or themselves.

I could go on and on.

I think it is because people do not have the same family values of the older days. It is also too easy these days to get a divorce. People are lazy and do not want to even try to fix things. I also think that people think the grass is greener on the other side.

there's a lot of reasons why marriages fail
1) people rushing into marriage without being really committed to each other
2) people fall out of love
3) people dont work hard to make their marriage work and see divorce as the only way out
4) people changing in the course of marriage and their partners cant accept the new person in their partners...

Because today people don't really mean for better or worse. They get to the worse and run. The worse happens in all relationships people life is full of crap. Wake up everyone and believe in commitment. The fruits await you when you do.

It's easier to get divorced when problems arise than to work on the problems and make a marriage last...folks these days don't understand...for better or worse until death do us part.
