No - just tell her you don't like pecan pie in general. If you tell her you don't like hers, you might hurt her feelings. If you tell her you like it, she might bring you more.

You say 'Paris, you did a really nice job of the pecan pie, but it is not really the sort of thing I like'..... then duck !!! Just kidding, as a rule if you ever have to knock the efforts of somebody, start it out positively as above, then put the boot in gently...

Don't tell her if she didn't ask..but if she would, just be honest. Maybe she'll add a little more of something on it and reduce something too. That would, maybe, make her pie delicious the next time..

Just say no thanks i dont like pecan pie...or you dont hafta sugar coat it and say sorry but it doesnt taste that great.
