well for a six month anniversary you can have a relaxing time at home just the two of you sitting down cuddling in the couch watching a movie eating pizza roles under a candle light dinner and surprise her at work with a dozen vase roses if you want it to be cheap and not to expensive. you can also wash all the sheets in the bed and made the bed look nice and room nice and clean smelling. take her in there with nice candle light scent and lay her down kiss her and make love passionately and kiss her to sleep well holding her all night and telling her all the sweet nothing in her ears all night.

I think dinner at a nice restaurant would be sweet. Make it a secret. Or if you are into that kind of stuff take her to the theater. Just tell her to dress nicely and then take off with her. A picnic would be romantic too. Or you could go back to the place where you got married, give her some flowers and tell her that it was the best thing that ever happened to you. I wouldn't do a gift. If she doesn't have one for you she might feel bad. Plus if you start now what are you going to get her once 10 or 25 years roll around? A helicopter? You definitely get Kudos for wanting to do something special to show her you appreciate her being in your life.

First of all, for you to recognize the anniversary at the 6 months level is fantastic! Congrads to you!

Something I think that is very special is to come home early from work (beat her home of course), get some rose petals and sprinkle them on floor leading her into the bedroom/bathroom. Run her a nice bath with rose petals floating on top of a beautifully scented bath. Place Candles in several places around the room. If you have soothing music - like jazz or music of your choice, turn it on in the area. Now prepare her a fruit dish that you can feed to her while she is taking a bath. The rest is up to you......................

Have a nice evening.....

Sounds like you should be planning to cook her dinner and pamper her with an oil massage. :) You would definitely need to make a nice filet mignon with blue cheese crusted on the top and garlic mashed red potatoes with fresh steamed green beans topped with toasted sliced almonds and butter. Then for desert make something with chocolate! My husband did this for me and lit candles everywhere...was so romantic
Of course we are both chefs so if you cant cook then order in from a really nice place.

Cook a home-made dinner, that takes a lot of effort. You may want to get new dinner ware or dinner linens. The meal does haven't to be elaborate just thoughtful and with a great presentation it will be special. Congratulations.

6 months and anniversary it sounds awry. In any case 6 months is a very short period for celebration of being together.

Wait for another six months for anniversary - I mean the first one. Be at home and discuss how six months are passed - the shortcomings if any during this period in your relationship and think and plan for future. That's all. Opening up your mind fully to your spouse and vice versa is the biggest celebration in one's life. Enjoy life to its fullest to reach the full circle.

Take the day off, get her a dozen red roses but make six of them and spread them sporatically through out the house. So when she come home she will see that you spent some time in thinking this through. A small bear would be pretty cool when she finds the last rose!

For six months, a gift is a good idea (lingerie, perfume, etc.), but you might also want to give her a gift that will keep her feeling special and will reinforce her good decision to marry you. She can buy a bra or teddy herself; a letter from you telling her how she's made a difference in your life is something she can't get from anyone, but you. It doesn't have to be eloquent, but it does have to be genuine. Trust me, she will tell her friends and her friends will back you up to her. Her friends will envy her and she will get double the pride in herself and in you.

to most women, normal women, do something that dont cost alot, but has a big meaning, cook a dinner, and if it dont turn out , she will love the thought and then take her out for dinner at a restarant, buy a ring out of the quarter machine and tell her how great its been so far, that you want to marry her every six months for the rest of your life. you might not see the meaning but its not how you show it, its what your trying to show,,, goood luck, not everyone gets lucky

Take her out for dinner or movie or long drive what ever she like most...........you must be knowing what make her more happy. Very nice thought this will make your relation more strong if the base is strong you can build a strong building and these small things defiantly make a strong base of your relationship with your wife.
