I am so confused about how this firmware works, ect ect. I got the PSP slim new a month ago and I now have a working computer to connect it to. I want to play PSXs games on the PSP but I don't have the faintest idea on what to do. I don't own any older PSPs or have friends that that have it as well (I kinda want to avoid that pandoras box thing). The PSP has already been updated to 3.72 by my BF even though I told him not to so I'm stuck with it now.

What are my options on getting an emulator to work? What whats the process from the beginning down to putting the games on it?

Youl need to downgrade with a Pandora battery. Thats pretty much your only option.

Once you do that. Youl be able to play PSX games.

You simply just put the whole folder of the game with the PBP file in it into the Game folder and run it of the memory stick.

you cant get past the firmware, maybe if you had the very first version of the psp it may be possible, but psp slim is pretty up to date with firmware so i dont believe you can.
