Just trying to get an idea here. I'll be asking one for the Democrats as well.

If you plan on voting outside of these two parties, let me know that also if you want.

I haven't decided yet, but lean a little toward McCain. I'm paying attention to Romney and Huckabee. I like both, but don't know if they're electable.

Giuliani isn't a bad choice but I don't know if I'd go for him in the primary.

I have a caucus, so my first preference group will be Duncan Hunter. But, unlike the Ron Paul people, I am a realist and know that his group will die in the first round, so I will have to go to my next preference group, which will be Huckabee. Huckabee's group will be viable. To be viable, you need 15%, otherwise your group dies and you either have to go to another preference group or go home.

I have a bad feeling that Ron Paul supporters don't understand this. Say they shock me, and everyone else, and get say 10%, or 12%. Well, that's not 15%, so no one is going to county level caucus from their group. I have already told my boss at work that if I am not in Friday, Jan 4th it's because I am in jail because some Ron Paul supporter had a case of diarrhea of the mouth at me and needed his nose broken. I am fully expecting them to try some real Nazi party Beer Hall Putsch crap with the Ron Paul people feeling that because they are very loud, and they have the very, very bestest message, that they should go to county even if they don't meet the 15% viability rule. That won't set well with me.

what's the point in voting for Ron Paul when there are candidates way ahead of him that have the same views????

at the end of the day, it's all about who looks more like you and biased opinions...

i would think that adults could compromise and think logical these days. who i'm voting for isn't the point. b/c bush won and look what the hell has happened so far...

I think you should discount any person who says Ron Paul, those spammers will probably flood this post with their ranting.

Personally, I am backing McCain. I think he's the best man for the job and pretty much the only Republican candidate with integrity who isn't being backed by a herd of disrespectful morons.
