One of my favourite children's books is "The Wonderful O" by James Thurber. He's dead on the money when chooses Freedom above all. There is no point to survival without quality of life. When you fight for love or God and your country or whatever it is, you are actually fighting for the freedom to love. Or whatever particular thing or quality that you think is most important to you. Just think of Nelson Mandela.

this is retarded.... fighting should have lost its usefulness long ago

ARGH i hate being born in the 21st century...

if we kill each other off then, love freedom knowledge become meaningless. well they are objectively meaningless even now but its hard for us to deny our barbaric primitive instincts.

if only humans were a little smarter, like 10 iq points higher we would have reached a peaceful existence....

Freedom, I know everyone is upset over the war but without our guys out there we would not have freedom. If people pay attention to tv and see other countries and how they live they would appreciate what "real" freedom means.
