Some of ya are either reading this wrong or reading "something for nothing" when it's "NOTHING for something". And I am referring to "real" gambling not life, or love, or anything in between. Just plain old gambling ... and believe me if you know the odds ... this statement is correct 99.8% of the time.

I generally win but I stick to Blackjack. Life is where I tend to lose. Shall we run off to Vegas?

I don't exercise gambling because I am too reserved to take the chance on getting nothing for my money I spend. LOL I am not a lucky gambler. I feel guilty after I loose. I am just lucky when I am the 10th. caller to win something on the radio station. I will stick with this scenario. LOL This way I only gain something and don't have to fret if I am not the winner.

LOL. Love the answers on here. Life is a gamble--and I've gotten what seems to be plenty for little investment. Sometimes I pick the right odds, sometimes not. But nothing is a given here on Earth, so I have to disagree with you. I feel like I beat 'the house' almost every day.

Christee you are very intelligent! You are exactly right, most times you get nothing for something. The casinos make big money each year. There is no way to beat the odds.

Selling cars works good for me! lol Seriously, I gamble often, but I only use money I can afford to lose. Sometimes I win and sometimes I don't. I would say love and marriage fall into this catagory also.

Gambling in what sense....
And
No matter what nothing is free....
You have to put your money in to gamble...
You have to put something on the line to play....
You have to put your heart out there to gamble on love.....
So, my dear friend.....
You never get something for nothing....
Only a difference in the return....
Peace.

You can rank it right up there with seedy south-city German car mechanics named Jeff... or as I call him.. Das YEFF... who sell you on doing the dirty work you'd generally prefer to do yourself, but had neither the time or the energy to do....
*INHALE*...
...and by being Das Yeff are required to mistakenly disassemble the wrong portion of MY car... be deported... and therein facilitate the return of said car -to me- by way of three crates and a tow-truck.
THAT is getting nothing but the chance to tell a story, tounge-in-cheek, for a few hundred dollars in labor.
....and yes I do realize that I just answered a question and will now have to repost another of my own to offset it...
BUT. I did write back to you on the one that you answered!

No, it's just the easiest. You could also invest your time and emotions in a relationship only to be cheated on and lied to. Gee, am I bitter much? :) Probably need to hit the slots.
