I just purchased Fujitsu lifebook N6460, but instead of windows vista, i decided to get windows XP on it instead, and with windows XP, i can not install the TV tuner i recieved, which wasn't a big deal for me since I just want to play some games connected to my TV!

On the TV tuner, there is a little slot where i can insert a line which i also recieved with my labtop (which splits into the yellow, white, and red lines) so I went and purchased sound/video connector which i can plug into the tv tuner, and into my TV, but it does not show anything~!

did i purchase a wrong cable line? please help me with this problem, I am very eager to get this working on my TV >.<

The N6460 has the following Video adapter:
ATI Mobility Radeon® HD 2600 with 512 MB HyperMemory™3

Which means you will have a program called "ATI Catalyst Control Center". Find and open this program for video adapter related settings such as hooking up an external display or forcing TV detection.

The n6460 has a hdmi and svideo port for output.

Fujitsu offers an optional Expresscard tv tuner. Is this what you have? The yellow would be video, but for the tuner, this is an input not an output.

It is not clear what your configuration is.
